Cognitive Behavioural practices provide a wide range of useful and effective methods and CBT is recommended by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) which guides the NHS in the treatment of a number of disorders including anxiety and depression. Just as we can develop and maintain unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that can lead to psychological or emotional distress, we can get into similar negative patterns that can undermine our progress and sense of wellbeing in any area of our personal and working lives.
